We arrived at Cedar Breaks National Monument around noon today and I learned my purpose on this trip. I am the only one who is 62 and therefore elligible for senior pass to national parks. For $10 I bought a lifetime pass which gets me and everyone with me into national parks, monuments, etc. I was not the first up the mountain, but the others waited to enter so they could get inon my card. Here we are celebrating the generousity of our federal government. The crew tried to nickname me grandpa, but I am insisting on being called The Golden Eagle.
